How sheet metal calendering works
Roll bending is performed using a 4-roller roll bending machine, into which the sheet metal is inserted, automatically clamped, and fed between the rolls. The pressure applied determines the curvature of the piece, which can be more or less pronounced depending on the CNC settings.
CNC technology allows for customized bending to be performed quickly, while maintaining stability, continuity, and consistent quality.

The grille: operation and characteristics
The calender consists of parallel rotating cylinders. The sheet metal is positioned between the lower and upper rollers, which hold it in place. To obtain larger radii, the side rollers move further apart; for tighter bends, they move closer together.
The dragging takes place via the motorized central roller, which allows the sheet metal to slide continuously.
This configuration allows for consistent bends, conical shapes and complex curvatures with high surface quality.
